Privacy Policy
A short policy, because this website does very little with your data.
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising scripts and no third-party embeds. Fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are served from our own domain, so visiting these pages sends no request to any outside company. Nothing is written to your browser's local storage. This is why you were not shown a cookie banner: there is no consent to collect, because there is nothing to consent to.
1. Who we are
Vertial Telecom LLC ("Vertial", "we", "us") operates this website at vertial.net. Our registered office is at 1507 Lampman Court, Cheyenne, WY 82007, United States. For any question about this policy or about how we handle personal data, write to [email protected].
This policy covers the website only. Where we process data on behalf of a client under a services agreement, that processing is governed by the contract and any data processing agreement signed with that client, not by this page.
2. What this website does not do
To be explicit, this website does not:
- set cookies of any kind, first-party or third-party;
- use analytics, statistics or audience-measurement services;
- load fonts, scripts, stylesheets, maps or videos from external providers;
- contain advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking pixels;
- build profiles of visitors or make automated decisions about them;
- include any contact, subscription or enquiry form;
- ask you to create an account or log in.
You can verify most of this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, look at the network and storage panels, and you will find only requests to this domain and an empty cookie store.
3. Server logs
Like effectively every website, the server delivering these pages records technical information about each request. Depending on the hosting configuration this may include your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string.
These logs exist for security and operational reasons — detecting attacks, diagnosing faults and keeping the service available. They are not used to identify individual visitors, are not combined with any other data source, are not used for marketing, and are not sold or shared with third parties. Log entries are retained only for as long as needed for those purposes and are then deleted or rotated out.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, the legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. If you contact us
The only contact channel published on this site is an ordinary email address. If you choose to write to us, we will hold the information you send — typically your name, your email address, your company, any telephone number you choose to include, and whatever you describe in your message.
We use that information for one purpose: to respond to you and, if it leads to work, to manage the resulting business relationship. The legal basis is your own initiative in contacting us, and our legitimate interest in replying (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or the steps taken prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) where relevant.
Correspondence is retained for as long as it remains commercially relevant, and longer where retention is required by applicable accounting or statutory obligations. You may ask us to delete correspondence at any time and we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.
Email is transported over networks we do not control. Please do not send credentials, private keys or sensitive personal data in an unencrypted message. Encrypted correspondence can be arranged on request.
5. Who has access to your data
Access to enquiry correspondence is limited to the people within Vertial who need it in order to respond. Beyond that:
- our hosting provider processes server log data as part of delivering the website;
- our email provider transmits and stores the messages you send us;
- we do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not disclose it for advertising purposes.
We may disclose information where we are legally compelled to do so by a competent authority, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6. International transfers
Vertial Telecom LLC is established in the United States, and the infrastructure serving this website and our email may be located in the United States or other jurisdictions. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the information in your message is therefore transferred outside those areas. Where such a transfer takes place, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted under applicable data protection law, including standard contractual clauses where required. You can ask us for details of the arrangements in place for any specific processing.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased where there is no overriding reason for us to keep it;
- ask us to restrict how we use your data;
- object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests;
- receive data you provided to us in a portable, machine-readable format;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. We will respond within the period required by the law applicable to your request, and in any case without undue delay. We do not charge a fee for reasonable requests, and we may need to confirm your identity before acting on one.
Because this site sets no cookies and runs no tracking, there is no advertising profile to opt out of and no tracking preference for you to manage here.
8. Children
This website addresses businesses and professional users. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data relating to children.
9. Security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Internally, access to correspondence and business systems is limited by role, protected by multi-factor authentication, and reviewed periodically. No system is perfectly secure, but security engineering is our profession and we hold our own infrastructure to the standards we apply for clients.
10. External links
Where we link to another organisation's website, that site is governed by its own privacy policy and its own use of cookies. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content or data practices of external sites.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how this website works — for example by adding a form or a service that requires cookies — we will update this policy before that change goes live, and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be described plainly rather than buried in a revised paragraph.
12. Contact
Questions, requests and complaints about this policy: [email protected], or by post to Vertial Telecom LLC, 1507 Lampman Court, Cheyenne, WY 82007, United States.
